Emsculpt Neo combines two technologies in one treatment. A high-intensity electromagnetic field triggers supramaximal contractions: the muscle contracts more strongly & more often than would be possible voluntarily, because the signal bypasses conscious control. In one session that amounts to several thousand contractions.
At the same time, radiofrequency warms the tissue in a targeted way: the muscle is prepared as if warming up, while the fat tissue above it is brought to a temperature at which fat cells can be broken down.
In this way targeted muscle training can be combined with a reduction of subcutaneous fat in the treated area, in places that are often hard to reach through training.
